Armin

• Working on random grab bag of several 1.0-stabilization tasks Add receiver builder #1002 Simplify session id pj cli #999 .
• Lots of review last week. Two big ones were: Redis removal PR Replace redis with file based mailbox storage #915 and receiver-decoupling PRs Separate receiver::{v1,v2} abstraction cleanly #998
• Migrate Make max fee rate sticky per payjoin-cli session #934 to Save max fee rate in receiver session context #1033
• Collaborated with Yuval on the Nostr–OHTTP bridge design. Brain dump here
• Planning for more review cycles this week.
• Received feedback from the Liana team; will organize notes and split follow-ups with Ben.

Ben

• Pulled and tested open PRs; added targeted tests where needed.
• Reviewed the Redis-removal PR and validated locally by running FFI tests.
• Confirmed prior Docker-related FFI issues no longer reproduce.
• Split Pyth’s review comments into GitHub issues and began addressing them.
• Noted CI currently builds/tests with --all-features enabled across the board. We should have CI build and test with some feature on
• Draft PR for plaintext padding is nearing readiness Remove pad plaintext from hpke #525

Chavic

• Worked on the FFI tracking issue (Audit payjoin-ffi's ImplementationError From implementation #737).
• Fixed open PRs in the UniFFI-Dart repo based on spacebears review
• This week: continue “trait method” support work, tied to Allow replacing output and inserting new outputs #69 in UniFFI-Dart.

Dan

• Primary goal: ship a 1.0 RC (Milestone 1).
• Only minor tech-debt items remain.
• Documented historical activity and identified two areas:
  • Persisting and indexing events/sessions -- worked completed in Simplify session id pj cli #999
  • Displaying history and classifying/handling errors issue: (There is no documented best practice or API to display historical payjoin activity #336).
• Constraint: maintain focus and avoid scope creep.

Nothingmuch

• Redis removal PR (Replace redis with file based mailbox storage #915) moved out of draft; remaining items include typos, stale comments, and simple FIXMEs.
• Opened ACME PR (Support requesting certificates using ACME #1026); needs CLI/config switches so ACME is optional rather than forced.
• Taking over Replace SystemTime with bitcoin::absolute::Time #1021 and ci: format TOML files using taplo and enforced CI formatting #1027 (Shehu’s time-types work) to land before 1.0; converting Cyber-Lord’s taplo changes into a scripted diff to avoid merge conflicts.
• Pairing with Blu on Python builds using uv.
• Spent time with Armin on Nostr OHTTP bridge details and surveyed alternative transports.
• Opened and merged multiple small PRs.
• No blockers. Top priorities: Replace SystemTime with bitcoin::absolute::Time #1021 then Replace redis with file based mailbox storage #915 for 1.0. Planning short time off after these land, then focus full-time on multiparty work.

Spacebear

• Spent last week on PR reviews, especially Nothingmuch’s directory changes PRs.
• Advanced Bull Bitcoin integration; migration was challenging due to the new SEL database model.
• Strategy: implement a receiver adapter and reuse existing sender/receiver storage points to persist full SEL.
• Open question: how to evolve payjoin-cli into a stronger reference for session history and fallback transactions.

Zealsham

• Opened PR for OHTTP key timeout Change fetch_ohttp_keys to timeout more quickly #968
• Working to port the directory web service to Axum -- but this is proving to be difficult.
• Aiming to pick up an additional directory issue this week.

Zele

• Continued work on payjoin audit logs.
• Sticky fee-rate PR became too complex to rebase; Armin will reintroduce a cleaner version in a new PR Save max fee rate in receiver session context #1033 .
