ok that is as I thought, this is a incompatibility with the available versions of software shipped with bullseye, you'll need to be on trixie for this to build properly. I'll add a version check for that

retronas now "officially" targets bookwork (deb12, soon to be trixie deb13) so the unraid installer should probably be updated to match for maximum compatibility

also i have to creat the src folder myself or it errors out too.
/opt/retronas/src doesnt get created.

move to debian trixie, that is what i am testing on these days and will be updating the wiki soon, sit wouldn't build on 12 for me either, same issue with dependencies, you could take it up with the main dev to get support for the libs in 12, then we'd pull that updated code as part of the install.

i have a patch incoming/prepped for the src folder issue, mustn't have pushed it yet, i'm in the middle of redoing my dev setup

is retronas gonna work on debain trixie now or is it coming. i was under the thought that trixie support wasnt ready yet. im fine with running beta alpha builds just thought there wasnt enought work out yet to run it as a main os for retronas. will up date onces i heard back from you.

we try to follow the main rpios as closely as possible so my main test vm has been trixie for a while now (although x86_64); there is one outstanding issue I am aware of with trixie support and the missing hfsutil package, otherwise I am currently rebuilding my own retronas on an rpi5 with trixie soon as I feel from what I've seen its reliable enough

i would assume so but since you're using the unraid installer I couldn't say for certain

oh also i've updated the wiki to say trixie is our base target version now in line with the current rpios
