restore attempt failed #48193
|
My project auto-paused and the automatic restore attempt failed. The dashboard shows: "Something went wrong while restoring your project. Your project's data is intact, but your project is inaccessible due to a restoration failure." |

Hi @FABIOHGG28 This happens when a transient error or migration deadlock occurs on Supabase’s infrastructure while unpausing the project container. Since the project is locked in this state at the backend infrastructure level, you cannot fix this manually through the dashboard UI, but your data and backups are completely safe. Here is how to resolve it: Submit a Support Ticket: Go directly to supabase.com/dashboard/support/new. Include Details: Select Database / Infrastructure issue and provide your Project Reference ID (found in your URL bar or dashboard settings). Mention the exact error: Note that auto-restoration failed with "project is inaccessible due to a restoration failure." The Supabase support team will clear the stuck provisioning lock on their backend queue, and your project will be back online shortly! |
