Add application text to self-registration for approval?

It would be nice if the admin could specify some question that the person registering needs to answer in a text field.

Otherwise it is hard to decide if you should approve an account or not. Even for a self-registration that you know in advance, it can be good as a reminder, like "we talked on IRC about XYZ, please let me in" or so.

It would be also nice if you could later read that application text again in the user menu as a reminder why someone registered.
