Upgrade to Jackson 3

I'm trying to upgrade to Spring Boot 4 which ships with Jackson 3. Currently there seems no way to use this framework because it is complied against Jackson 2. Are there any plans to provide a Jackson 3 compatible version? If any, is there a time frame for that?

If they haven't significantly changed the API you should be able to continue using this plugin
https://github.com/origin-energy/java-snapshot-testing/blob/master/java-snapshot-testing-plugin-jackson/build.gradle#L8 as the dependency is compile only.

However, if they have, another plugin java-snapshot-testing-plugin-jackson3 would need to be created I imagine.

Unfortunately, they did major changes, e.g. their namespace. Class ObjectMapper now resides in tools.jackson.databind. So any class using Jackson 2 API shouldn't compile any longer.
