[Bugfix] Add an init container to the MongoDB, MySQL, Redis and Meilisearch Kubernetes deployments (unconditionally, on every cluster) that fixes volume ownership before the main container starts. This fixes a crash on first
tutor k8s launchon clusters whose storage provisioner does not supportfsGroup, such as Minikube or kind; it is a no-op on clusters wherefsGroupalready works. Air-gapped clusters must now also mirror theopenedx-permissionsimage for Kubernetes deployments, not only fortutor local; mirror it by digest or with a tool that preserves thesecurity.capabilityxattr, since the image's non-root init container relies on a file capability that some image re-layering tools silently strip, which would quietly bring back the original crash. [Feature] Add a
--alloption totutor mounts removeto remove all bind-mounts at once. (by @valkrypton) -
[Security] Upgrade
OPENEDX_COMMON_VERSIONtorelease/verawood.2, which includes several security fixes. Verawood.2 moves Studio library content to a separatestudio_library_contentMeilisearch index: on existing platforms, this index is populated by thereindex_studiocommand that runs duringtutor local/k8s launch(ordo init). Library search in the Authoring MFE requires an MFE image built from Verawood.2, so also upgrade tutor-mfe. (by @Abdul-Muqadim-Arbisoft) -
[Bugfix] Fix
ImportError: ... GLIBC_2.38 not foundwhen compiling assets in the openedx image, after an image of a Tutor release based on a newer Ubuntu was built on the same machine. The uv cache is now separate for each Ubuntu version. (by @ahmed-arb)
