Better Switch 0.3.1 fixes switching to Finder.

• Fixes ⌘Tab to Finder not opening a window when Finder had no windows.
• Finder reports its desktop instead of an empty window list, so 0.2.2's uncertainty guard treated the state as unknown and skipped reopening. A successfully read window list without a window now counts as an app with no windows; a failed read remains uncertain.
• Window-menu and minimized-window restoration are unchanged.

Requires macOS 15 or later and Accessibility permission. The ZIP contains a universal Apple silicon/Intel app signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Existing installations can update through Check for Updates….

Better Switch 0.3.0

Better Switch 0.3.0 adds Shake to Focus.

• Hold a window's title bar and shake it left and right to minimize other windows on the current desktop.
• Automatically hides other apps when their windows cannot be minimized. The shaken window's own app is never hidden.
• Shake again to restore the windows and apps changed by the previous shake, and bring the shaken window forward.
• Keep holding the title bar between actions: a 1.2-second cooldown prevents accidental immediate toggling.
• Use Restore Shaken Windows in the menu bar to restore the changed windows at any time.

Hiding affects an entire app, including its windows on other desktops. Other windows belonging to the shaken window's app remain visible if they cannot be minimized.

Fixes extra Brave Browser windows appearing during a cold launch while Better Switch is running.

• Treats unavailable Accessibility window information as uncertain instead of assuming there are no windows.
• Reopens an app only after launch has completed and its window list is confirmed empty, with a final visible-window check.
• Preserves minimized-window and Window-menu restoration.

Validated with three consecutive Brave cold launches and manual checks of minimized-window restoration and reopening after closing all windows.
