This collects all the new features of ownCloud 7. This will be used for the release announcement.
- Improved user-interface including a new sidebar
- Files list supports sorting and infinite scrolling
- Removal of the "Shared" Folder – shares can now be moved anywhere
- Better Display of sharing information including new sharing overview pages
- Overview of external storage mounts of the current user
- New user-management interface with better group management and search
- ownCloud Documents gets annotation and MS Word support
- Syncing speed improvements
- Big web-interface speed improvements because of static css/js files and more AJAX

- June 6th Feature freeze. All new features have to be merged by then. Please submit your pull requests as soon as possible so that the reviewers have time to review and to give you feedback. If you are working on bigger features please inform Frank as soon as possible.

- June 21th Release ownCloud 7 alpha 2
- June 26th Release ownCloud 7 beta 1 Only important bugfixes are allowed from now on.
- July 3rd Release ownCloud 7 RC 1 Only showstopper bugfixes are allowed from now on. stable7 branches are created.
