User-Controlled Style Settings

Style sliders (verbosity, formality, hedging) now track whether they were manually set by the user. Once user-modified, constraints and guidance will not override them.

• Text selection across cells now clears immediately instead of allowing selection to continue

When selecting text in highlight mode, if you drag across cell boundaries, the selection is now immediately cleared. Previously, the selection would appear to continue but the popover wouldn't show - this was confusing. Now the selection stops as soon as it crosses a cell boundary.

External constraints from grant calls, style guides, or submission requirements are now stored per-document and guide all edits.

• "Import" → "Constraints": Renamed tab with full edit/save/clear UI
• Persistent storage: Constraints are saved with the document (like goals)

• Agent integration: Orchestrator and Intent agents now consider constraints

How to Use

1. Open Document Profile panel
2. Go to "Constraints" tab
3. Upload a PDF or paste text from requirements
4. Click "Extract & Save" to parse and store constraints
5. All subsequent edits will respect these constraints
