lexsync 0.1.0

@pablobernabeu pablobernabeu released this 23 Sep 00:15

The first public release of lexsync, as twin R and Python packages that share one version number and select byte-identical stimuli under the deterministic matching methods.

The R package has been on CRAN since 22 September 2026 and installs with install.packages("lexsync"). CRAN assigned it the DOI 10.32614/CRAN.package.lexsync, which covers every version. The CRAN build was made before the DOI existed, so its citation("lexsync") gives the repository's address, but the DOI is the identifier to cite.

The Python package was to be published to PyPI from this release, but that upload did not go through, so 0.1.0 is not on PyPI. At this version it installs from the repository with pip install "git+https://github.com/pablobernabeu/lexsync.git@v0.1.0#subdirectory=python_workflow". PyPI carries the package from 0.1.1 onwards, where pip install lexsync works, with the corpora or experiment extra added in brackets when it is needed.

Documentation for both packages is at https://pablobernabeu.github.io/lexsync/, and CHANGELOG.md lists what the release contains.
