Platform Secrets

This section is dedicated to platform-specific information. We encourage platform owners to expand this section to help their users kickstart their Patchstorage quest!

LV2 Plugins

Currently, the LV2 plugins section on Patchstorage is dedicated to linux-amd64, rpi-aarch64 & patchbox-os-arm32 plugin builds. Let us know if you would like to see support for additional targets.

Also, you need to use Patchstorage API to upload and update LV2 plugins on the site. To make your life easier, we have prepared a Python CLI utility. You can download it here - patchstorage-lv2-uploader.

For building plugins, please see patchstorage-lv2-builder.

We will publish a start-to-finish guide for plugin developers on building and uploading a custom plugin to the site in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

Patchstorage API

Patchstorage has a semi-complete Beta API for querying and uploading patches. If you need help using the API, please visit our Discord server. Please subscribe to Patchstorage developer notifications if you use the API in your projects.

Patchbot - Discord Bot

Patchbot is a Discord bot that can notify you directly via Discord DMs or on a specific channel on your Discord server once a new patch for a specific platform gets published on Patchstorage.

Subscribing to Patchbot notifications

1. Add Patchbot to your server via this link or write a DM to Patchbot via this link.
2. To see all available platforms and their IDs send !patchbot platforms list.
3. From a channel you want to receive notifications to or via DM send !patchbot platforms add <platform_id>.
4. To see your subscriptions, send !patchbot platforms info from a corresponding channel or via DM.
5. To unsubscribe from notifications, send !patchbot platforms remove <platform_id>.

Patchbot Help

If at any point you are stuck, just send a help message to the bot, e.g. !patchbot help or !patchbot help platforms. If you find any issue with the bot, please contact us via hello@patchstorage.com.
