Parley v0.35.2
The main app follows the v2 design: 總覽 (Home) is the new first screen, a meeting can be prepared ahead as a draft that reminds you when it starts, and a running meeting lives in its own floating window while the main window stays the whole app. Voice typing also stops losing a cancelled dictation, and gives you longer to take a long one back.
(v0.35.0 and v0.35.1 were tagged but never built, so everything below reaches you here for the first time.)
A new home, and a meeting you prepare ahead (#652)
- 總覽 opens on 直接錄音 or 新增會議草稿, and lists every upcoming meeting with its time, folder and a Start button.
- A meeting draft has three sections — where it is filed, what it is about, and what to prepare — with a day/start/end picker in 15-minute steps and a reminder lead time. Leave the title empty and the time fills it in for you.
- A saved draft survives a restart. Before it starts, Parley notifies you, bounces in the Dock and shows a card with 開始錄音.
- The sidebar gains 語音輸入 under 所有錄音, and a new 語境庫 that gathers your dictionary terms, your speaker background and whatever Claude Code's memory added to it.
- Workspaces in the save / move / auto-share picker now sit in a column of their own, so an organization's folder and a personal folder of the same name never read alike. In the field the organization shows as a blue tag before the folder.
- For agents: two new MCP tools,
list_meeting_draftsandcreate_meeting_draft.
The meeting runs in its own window (#652)
- Always on top, with tabs for 筆記, 逐字稿 and 教練, and a bottom bar to pause, ask the coach, or end.
- Shrink it and it becomes a mini window that keeps the tab it came from — the latest transcript lines, your notes, or the coach's answer — and its row of icons switches between the three without expanding it again.
- Drag the mini window near the top of the screen and it snaps under the notch or into the top-right corner, and remembers which: the next shrink goes straight back there. On macOS it glides instead of jumping.
- The transcript is always a whole number of lines tall, so it never shows half a line.
- The main window keeps every one of its functions while the meeting records — the library, your recordings and ⌘K all stay usable.
A cancelled dictation is no longer lost (#640)
- Press Esc during voice typing and you get a few seconds to undo it. When that window closed, the text used to be thrown away — a dictation of several minutes could vanish with no copy anywhere.
- Every cancelled dictation is now written to the dictation history, marked 已取消 · 只存在這裡, so you can still copy it out. The same goes for one you drop by starting a new dictation.
- The undo window now follows the dictation: half as long as you spoke — 20 seconds after talking for 40, up to 30 seconds — while a short dictation keeps its five.
A long dictation stops taking Esc from the app you are in (#640)
- While Esc can cancel a dictation, Parley holds it, so no other app sees it. That now ends a minute into a dictation: Esc goes back to whatever you are working in, and the dictation keeps recording.
- Cancelling a long one still works — hold your push-to-talk key and press Esc. With fn, a plain key such as F13, or the Windows tray, where there is no such combination, Esc alone keeps cancelling as before.
Onboarding fixes (#653)
- The intro demo can be replayed: a Replay button sits next to the last caption.
- Pressing Next during the microphone check no longer throws the recording away. Parley finishes saving in the background, and your speaker background and new terms appear on the next step a few seconds later.
