Lightning Fork for Android 0.2.0
Pre-releaseLightning Fork for Android 0.2.0, a test build. It's a remote for your own Lightning Fork node; your funds stay on the node.

Pay SHA256 invoices. These are Lightning invoices from the SHA256 chain, paid through a service you set up in the dashboard (menu → Paying SHA256 invoices). Before you pay, the app shows:
- the most the payment can cost, routing included;
- the service's fee;
- how the price compares with the market.
You only pay if the service pays the SHA256 invoice. Your activity shows what was paid and the proof.
-
Settings says whether the app can reach your node away from home, and where to set that up if it can't.
-
The Bitcoin mark matches the dashboard's.
Needs Lightning Fork on your node at StartOS 0.21.3-beta.15:0 or Umbrel 0.21.3-beta-blake2b.15.0 or later. Without those versions, everything else still works, but SHA256 invoices are refused as before.
Install
Download lightning-fork-0.2.0.apk, SHA256SUMS and SHA256SUMS.asc, then check them:
gpg --verify SHA256SUMS.asc SHA256SUMS
sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS
Install the APK over 0.1.0; it stays paired. If you're installing for the first time, allow installs from your browser or file manager when Android asks.
APK signing certificate SHA-256: ef6d6eca37ced88d8dd36e11b2558ce59bfb386ad0b51e7226370d396304d392 (the same as 0.1.0).
Pair
In the dashboard's menu, choose Mobile app → Pair a phone and scan the code with the app. The Mobile app screen says whether the app can be used away from home and how to set that up:
- On StartOS, Lightning Fork offers a task that adds the onion address.
- On Umbrel, it happens on its own once Tor has published the address.
Not yet
- Lightning addresses and LNURL.
- Managing channels from the phone (use the dashboard).
licenses.txt lists the open-source components the app includes.
