I had a solid chance to get us closer and closer to 1.0. But API stuff keeps cropping up. I'm focsed on the minimum needed to Ship Bull Bitcoin, which I think is everything short of the Async callback interface. We need to do the errors, perhaps this week.

Focus

• We're waiting on Bull Bitcoin Mobile to ship their latest version then review
• Still Taxes. It's moving
• payjoin-1.0/payjoin-cli-1.0 stuff assuming everything else is blocked or out of the way.

Bottleneck

• Taxes. I'm back to operationalizing paying the Government. This blocks my ability to review & make decisions on the few things left for 1.0. @spacebear21 can make decisions in my stead if I really can't.
• Enforce single-owner contract on InMemoryPersister #1534 Has @arminsabouri 's request for feedback but is really blocked on @spacebear21 / @benalleng review. Armin's comments are strictly for follow-ups.

Most of my efforts have been focused on #1514. Yuval recently suggested a new algorithm based on a mostly stateless approach which can be followed up in #919 (comment).

Ideally, my current focus is to make the PR a demo/proof of concept for the stateless approach. From there maintaners can decide whether it makes more sense to include it directly in the payjoin crate if not too complex or move it into a separate crate since some contributors noted that downstream/application developers may otherwise need to reimplement the logic themselves if logic is on payjoin-cli:
