Version 9.10 Query Tool -- Typing Lags Due to Autocomplete

Describe the bug

In the latest version (I am using a snapshot build from 11/14/25), typing in the Query Tool is laggy with lots of hesitation. This seems to be due to autocomplete being slow to look up suggested values.

To solve this, I have turned off autocomplete in Settings.

To Reproduce

Make sure autocomplete is enabled in settings and type as usual.

Expected behavior

I expect minimal lag or hesitation when autocomplete is enabled.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: macOS Tahoe 26.1
• pgAdmin version: 9.10 snapshot build from 11/14/25
• Mode: Desktop

Hi @anthonydb, are you experiencing this issue only in version 9.10? Is this issue reproducible with the local PG server also?
