Visual Studio Code

I use visual Studio Code as my editing environment. This has many useful plugins so you can, e.g., execute code line-by-line, and manage Git repositories.

Extensions

There are numerous extensions for VS Code. Here are some that I use:

• Julia language. You can execute Julia code line-by-line in the REPL (Read-Eval-Print Loop). See the extension's documentation.

Git / GitHub

Git is a great way to version control your software and manage collaboration with others.

You can sign up for an account on GitHub if you with to use their on-line service.

There is a lot of on-line documentation including a getting started guide.
