Thread Features

• Description: A user must be able to successfully select threads they are interested (or could be random) to investigate based on the specific feature value or based on the time-period.

[TF1] For each feature, threads are shown in a scatter plot with the horizontal axis representing time and the vertical axis representing feature value.

[TF2] Feature scatter plots are stacked together, sharing the horizontal time axis.

[TF3] Brushing threads in a feature scatter plot: brushed threads are highlighted in all scatter plots and in the Feature Projection view.

• Test Steps:

1. Navigate to the scatterplots
2. In each of the feature, select a single thread or a group of threads based on the particular feature value or based on the time-period
3. The selection can be either in horizontal or vertical axis.
4. The selected threads will be highlighted in orange and this can be brushed across horizontal or vertical.
5. A single thread can be hovered or clicked from the selected highlighted threads and each of the threads can be investigated individually.
6. Single thread selected (hovered/selected) will be highlighted in red.
7. The same single thread will show all the information of the temporal period and the values of the features.
8. Multiple selections can be perfomed as well?

• Expected Result: Successful in selecting & brushing of threads. The user will be able to see the type of thread selected based on the various features listed and the time-period.
