PHP powers over 73% of websites on the Internet, making it the most widely used server-side programming language in the world. A language with such impact deserves a website that truly reflects its vitality and influence. That’s why I created the concept PHP is Awesome 🔥.
The goal is to craft a design that's both striking and memorable, while remaining clean, consistent, and sustainable, a design that can evolve and serve the community for years to come. It blends modern aesthetics with php.net established tone (violet), emphasizing clarity, performance, and usability across devices.
The documentation layout is consistent and straightforward, giving developers an effortless way to find everything they need about PHP.
The idea of featuring logos of well-known companies that use PHP in the hero section is to reinforce PHP solid reputation while adding an aspirational touch to inspire new developers.
