te: python_venv / python3_venv needs to be installed to be able to finish extension installation.

Where did you find this? You don't need to create any venvs.

It is my mistake, it should be python-venv or python3-venv.
I google that solution when dealing on my Linux Mint with problem that python was not found in the path (if I recall the message from VScode right). In any case, I just installed python3-venv and installation of PlatformIO extension finished well.

Shall be the note moved to other place? Like troubleshooting? In any case, I would like to reformulate it today (later evening). You can check it and let me know.
