Tarball size of v3.1.1 went up to 148MB on NPM (vs 27 MB for v3.1.0)

Hi,
I noticed that the size of the plotly.js NPM package increased drastically in the latest release.

The tarball I get from here https://registry.npmjs.org/plotly.js/-/plotly.js-3.1.1.tgz is 148 MB
The one from the previous release https://registry.npmjs.org/plotly.js/-/plotly.js-3.1.0.tgz was 27 MB

The extra weight seems to come from a scratch folder that appeared in the latest release and that contains a lot of images, among other things.

Is it possible that this folder was created by a new IDE and was not meant to be included in the release ?

Thanks for bringing this up! We've got some cleaning up to do with our .npmignore file. v3.1.2 is being published on npm soon and the package size is back in line with previous versions.

https://registry.npmjs.org/plotly.js/-/plotly.js-3.1.2.tgz is published and bundle size is back down to 29.2 MB, so I'll close this issue. I've opened #7593 to track .npmignore updates.
