nm-applet system tray icon won't change size in polybar?

Hi,

I'm using polybar with i3...

Under the module/tray section I added the size 70%, now all my apps that have/use a system tray icon appear larger, but the NetworkManager nm-applet won't change size. I assumed it would change too, does anyone know how to fix this?

format-margin = 8px
tray-spacing = 8px
tray-size = 70%

i guess the correctly sizing tray can solve by this

format-margin = 1px ; change to 1px
tray-spacing = 2px ; and this to 2px
tray-size = 66% ;then try

Hi,

OH, I also noticed the redshift-gtk system tray icon doesn't change size too.

The settings you gave me don't work.

tray-size = seems to be the only setting that does anything. But I don't get why some icons won't change sizes... hmm

I Figured out why This Happening
.
Because in polybar Old-school apps (nm-applet, redshift) bring fixed-size stickers (usually tiny 16px or 22px images)
.
Polybar makes the "parking spot" bigger, but those old-school apps refuse to stretch their tiny stickers to fill the extra space.
