Using a tablet as a secondary display (Virtual Outputs in cosmic-comp)

Context & Use Case

I am currently daily-driving the COSMIC DE on CachyOS and really enjoying the workflow. I'm looking to use my tablet as a wireless secondary monitor to extend my workspace.

On X11, this is usually handled via xrandr virtual displays and VNC, but Wayland handles virtual outputs differently.

My Questions:

1. Current Compatibility: How does cosmic-comp currently handle virtual outputs? Are existing screen-sharing and virtual-display tools like Weylus, Deskreen, or WayVNC compatible with COSMIC's Wayland implementation?
2. Configuration: Is there currently a recommended way to manually create a virtual display output via the command line that the COSMIC display settings will recognize?
3. Future Plans: If this isn't fully supported yet, are there plans to add native virtual display management directly into the COSMIC Settings interface?
