osu!lazer appimage will not launch on linux

osu! refuses to open. I recently upgraded my system to a newer kernel and I have ensured my packages are up to date, as well as downloading the freshest version of osu! for linux available from the website.

Running the AppImage from a terminal returns the following error:

System Info:
Lubuntu 24.04.4 LTS
Linux 6.12.85-generic
AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
32 GB DDR4 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super (driver version 580.142)

I have searched for similar issues and discussions within the QnA, as well as searching the broader internet, and I have found nothing matching the error I am encountering. Help is appreciated :)

Never forget to reboot after updating your packages xD
