Remove hard binding to "purescript-mode"?

Seems like the places that require `purescript-mode` should instead call some overridable/customizable function for checking if psc-ide should be running some functions? Or can these be eliminated entirely?

I can make a PR for this sooner or later, but any extra information would help.
