About the project
This project is closely related to the gpu4pyscf project. This is a plugin to support the DFT (density functional theory), which is one of the core features in gpu4pyscf. The gpu4pyscf project is the GPU backend for the quantum chemistry library PySCF (https://github.com/pyscf) . The PySCF library is widely used in material science and quantum computing communities. Some modules in PySCF are CPU intensive . They are optimized on GPU and collected in the gpu4pyscf repo.
Reasons for the request
gpu4pyscf-libxc-cuda13x is the wheel to store the DFT plugin of gpu4pyscf. This wheel supports CUDA compatibility sm 80, 90, 100, and 120 complied with CUDA-13 toolkit . Each compatibility version occupies around 50 MB storage in the binary file. The size of the binary file will be over the 100 MB limit.
