In the cmd.py 1.35 checkin on 2/6/2003, there are many
lines like:

    self.stdout.write("%s\n"%str(header))

I believe the str() call in unnecessary.

Neal, is this a simplification you would like to make?

The str call is necessary if header is a tuple. AFAIK, if
header is not a tuple, using str() is redundant.
