Archive typed-ast and typing on PyPI

I suggest we archive the typing and typed-ast projects on PyPI. While I'm a maintainer of those projects, only an owner can archive them. I'm not sure who that is, so sorry for the mass ping @gvanrossum @JukkaL @JelleZijlstra @hauntsaninja

What are the effects of archiving? If people have this as a dependency, what will happen for them? I think I'm still an owner so I can do it but I would like to understand the consequences first.

Archival on PyPI was introduced in this blog post:

Maintainers can now archive a project to let users know that the project is not expected to receive any more updates.
[...]
Project archival is not deletion: archiving a project does not remove it from the index, and does not prevent users from installing it. Archival is purely a user-controlled marker that gives project owners the ability to signal a project’s status; PyPI has no plans to delete or prune archived distributions.
