Not working on Windows VSCode

VSCode giving error "Quarto Installation not found" when trying to render.

I am not sure if the following steps to install Quarto is correct because I did not find detail instructions on installation on Quarto Get Started page

I followed the next sequence to install Quarto:

1. installed Quarto for Windows
2. installed Quarto VSCode extension from VSCode extensions menu (left side of screen)
3. Created Quarto file and render giving error "Quarto Installation not found"

Going to the settings of Quarto in VSCode I changed the PATH to point to where Quarto quarto.cmd is located in my PC but still get the same error when trying to render the file.

Sorry to hear that this is happening! It's possible that the Quarto installation didn't complete successfully? What happens if you type quarto check in Powershell? What about quarto --version

The VS code extension will search for Quarto on your PATH (although you may need to restart VS Code for it to actually show up on your PATH).

Since the last automatic update from VSCode I am receiving an error message when rendeing a quarto file within VSCode.

Quarto Check ist ok:

I am using quarto Version 0.9.351
Quarto Extension: Version. 1.1.191

VSCode Version:

It is working for me after I restarted by PC. Maybe a comment should be added Get Started guide inform users to reboot after installation.

Interesting. It's isn't generally required to restart your PC (but I do think that you might need to restart VS Code, I'll definitely add a note to that effect)
