The canonical public license is the APEX Source Available License 1.1, dated 24 September 2026. It contains the complete public grant, eligibility rules and commercial schedule.
| Document | Role |
|---|---|
| LICENSE | Operative public license, including revenue assessment and pricing in sections 13 and 14 |
| Licensing overview | Summary of permissions, tiers and commercial scope |
| Pricing and eligibility | Detailed guide to the rules in the public license |
The summaries do not amend the LICENSE or an accepted Order. APEX is source available with revenue-based commercial terms, not OSI-approved open source.
Paid entitlements, Custom rights and any separately agreed services require a concrete accepted agreement. Contributor rights must also be agreed separately where required. Contracting parties, commercial details and acceptance records belong in those actual agreements; unfinished contract templates are not distributed in this repository.
The public license does not incorporate separate commercial or contributor agreements merely by referring to them. Removing earlier draft templates does not change the public license or existing accepted agreements. Third-party components retain their own licenses.
