Added a devin harness to orbit init --agents and orbit setup: project scope writes .devin/rules/orbit.md, .devin/skills/orbit/SKILL.md, and a .devin/mcp_config.jsonmcpServers entry; --hooks also installs the SessionStart hook in .devin/hooks.v1.json (user scope nests it under the hooks key of ~/.config/devin/config.json). setup all, orbit workspace setup, detection, refresh, and --check/--remove cover Devin like the other harnesses.
Fixed orbit workspace issues ignoring custom Issue Field names: the remote catalog hardcoded Area/Verification, so repositories configured with different area_name/verification_name showed empty values.
Internal: consolidated duplicated health checks, comment-header handling, GitHub basic-mode gating, and sync field enumeration behind single-owner interfaces. No workflow changes.

Fixed repeated no-op label pushes in orbit github sync: labels were compared in list order, so a Task whose labels were sorted differently than the Issue looked changed on every sync (and could turn into a false conflict once both sides reordered). Labels are now compared as a set.

Added orbit github auto-push on|off to toggle [github] auto_push without editing config.toml. The command writes and commits the Board config, reports the previous value, and warns when enabling with zero or multiple available repositories because new Tasks cannot infer a single Issue destination. Automatic push stays push-only; pulling still requires orbit github sync --apply --direction pull.
Renamed orbit github create --include-terminal to --include-closed. The new name matches the Board's "closed work" language and GitHub's closed Issue state; --include-terminal remains accepted as a hidden alias, and the refusal message now points at --include-closed. Done Issues still close with state_reason: completed and cancelled ones with not_planned.

Fixed orbit init . and orbit init <existing-repo>: a target that is already a Git working-tree root now initializes that checkout's ./.orbit instead of passing the populated checkout to git worktree add and failing with GIT_ERROR. A non-empty explicit Board directory now returns CONFIG_ERROR with an actionable message.
Added opt-in GitHub auto-push ([github] auto_push = true). orbit add creates an Issue when exactly one repository is available; mapped title/body/label/status/area/verification changes push after local mutations, claims add the reserved orbit:in-progress label, and done/cancelled use native state_reason. Auto-push is push-only, synchronous, never overwrites a remote conflict, and leaves existing Local Tasks unlinked. --no-sync and ORBIT_NO_AUTO_SYNC=1 suppress it. See ADR 0016.

orbit list now has an ISSUE column: - for a Local Task, #N for a Linked Task, and ~#N for detached provenance. New --linked and --local filters scope the table without --json, and orbit show prints the full owner/repo#N link.
Fixed Task frontmatter parsing so an indented --- line inside a YAML block scalar no longer ends the frontmatter early. Linking an Issue whose body contains a Markdown horizontal rule previously wrote github.last_sync.body with an indented ---, after which orbit list, orbit show, and orbit doctor reported CORRUPT_TASK for that Task.
Added a Publish npm workflow that publishes the npm asset from an existing GitHub Release when the release pipeline's artifact smoke jobs are skipped or cancelled.

orbit setup and orbit workspace setup now write through an AGENTS.md symlink instead of replacing it with a regular file. Repositories that keep AGENTS.md -> CLAUDE.md retain the link after setup.
Fixed the Windows-only tests/discovery.rs, tests/doctor.rs, and tests/workspace_migrate.rs assertions so CI compares platform paths component-wise and canonicalizes with dunce.

orbit workspace migrate now carries the legacy Workspace Board's configuration into a newly staged <workspace>/.orbit/board instead of replacing it with defaults. [github], [workspace], and Board policy settings are preserved; only id.prefix, board.storage, and board.branch are adapted to the new layout. The plan reports the source as configuration_source, so a migration no longer silently drops the organization, linked repositories, and resolved Issue Field IDs that orbit workspace refresh needs.
orbit workspace refresh now infers [github].organization from direct child repository origins when every repository shares one GitHub owner, saves it to the Workspace Board, and reports organization_inferred. Mixed-owner Workspaces still require an explicit organization.
orbit workspace refresh --json now includes the resolved organization and organization_inferred, matching the documented Workspace status contract.

Packaging patch. The Orbit binary is functionally identical to 0.10.0; this release fixes the packaged onboarding smoke so the release pipeline can publish to npm. It includes the Workspace Issue catalog (orbit workspace issues), orbit workspace migrate, Workspace-aware doctor, batched orbit github create, and the GitHub Projects documentation from 0.10.0.
Fixed scripts/onboarding-smoke.sh and scripts/onboarding-smoke.ps1 to run orbit github create --apply and assert the batched data.tasks[] result.

This release adds the Workspace Issue catalog: orbit workspace issues refresh, list, inspect, import, detach, and reattach browse GitHub Issues across included repositories and import them only on explicit request. orbit workspace migrate consolidates legacy Workspace and child-repository Boards, orbit doctor understands Workspaces, and GitHub sync becomes Orbit-authoritative. GitHub Projects are documented as a downstream view over Issues.
Added orbit workspace migrate to preview and consolidate legacy Workspace and child-repository Boards into <workspace>/.orbit/board. It preserves source Boards, Tasks, comments, claims, Checkpoints, and relationships; remaps only colliding IDs; retains source prefixes as accepted legacy prefixes; reports config differences; blocks duplicate GitHub Issue identities; and supports resumable application with validation and rollback guidance.
orbit github create now previews selected Local Tasks by default, supports explicit batches and terminal-task opt-in, and applies each Issue independently before persisting its stable Task link and sync baseline. Workspace exports infer a single included repository; linked Tasks are directed to sync instead of being duplicated.
orbit doctor is Workspace-aware. From the Workspace root or any child repository it names the resolved Workspace/Board and reports layout problems, unreachable/stale/removed repositories, partial Issue-cache refreshes, migration remnants, duplicate GitHub identities, orphaned links, sync conflicts, and managed agent setup drift or collisions. Findings include severity, affected repository/Task/Issue, cause, and safe next action; doctor stays read-only unless --fix or --migrate is explicitly requested.
Workspace catalog repositories are usable by orbit github adopt, status, and sync without a separate orbit github repo link. Linked status now reconciles an open Issue with a terminal Orbit status, and a remote wontfix change is surfaced even while the Issue stays closed. Removing a previously synced dependency or SubTask link now removes the supported GitHub relationship on the next explicit sync.
orbit doctor now treats ordinary non-Git child directories such as docs/ or notes/ as informational warnings instead of findings, so they no longer make a Workspace unhealthy or produce a removal action. A directory that previously held a repository is still reported as stale.
A successful orbit github create --apply on a Workspace Board now upserts the new Issue into the local Remote Issue cache. doctor no longer reports GITHUB_ORPHAN_LINK and orbit workspace issues list --linked sees the new link before the next explicit orbit workspace issues refresh; the upsert does not advance the catalog's last-refreshed time.
Documented GitHub Projects as a downstream view over Issues, with Project setup steps, GitHub CLI examples, create/import/finish/cancel flows, state mapping, draft and custom-field limits, and troubleshooting. Orbit does not request Project scopes or synchronize ProjectV2 membership, Status, views, or custom fields; Project auto-add and item added/closed/reopened workflows are the supported integration, and GitHub's separate Auto-close issue workflow is the only path from a card move to an Issue change.
