Thanks for the kind words. This is a reasonable feature request. Pulse already tracks update availability for containers - adding an optional alert when updates are detected would be a natural extension. Tagging as a feature request for future consideration. |

Update alerts for container images are now enabled for all users (commit 66a4983). When a container image update has been pending for more than 24 hours (configurable), Pulse will generate an alert. The alert appears in the standard alerts view and can trigger notifications. This will be included in the next release. |

Hi there,
First of all, I want to say I really like the look and feel of Pulse and its capabilities. Simplistic yet powerful. Appreciate the work you've done and the continuous support.
I was looking at the Docker overview in Pulse and noticed that a few of my containers could be updated. This made me wonder if there was an option to get notified via Pulse for new container updates. Since it's already monitoring this and has the capability of updating them. It would be neat to see a toggleable alert option for available updates for the monitored Docker containers. And possibly even alerts for security updates for monitored hosts.
I think this could be a nice added extra to Pulse's great capabilities in a possible future release.
