Pulse - A monitoring application for Proxmox VE

Has anyone experienced with their Pulse Monitoring LXC for Version: [5.1.34] spikes to 100% CPU, Memory and SWAP, then become completely unresponsive until it is hard stopped and started? Even Reboot and Shutdown do not work and actually time out, one has to hard stop it, then start it. Then it is fine for a few hours and it starts to climb back up on CPU, SWAP and Memory again. Just wondering if it is me or if this is a known issue.

This happens no matter what node it sits on in my Proxmox VE cluster.

No, it's perfectly stable here ( using V6rc4 ). proxmox 9.2.3, kernel 7.0.6.
1Gb of RAM, no swap.

Hmmm, V6rc4 is not available via Proxmox VE Helper Scripts site, only v5.1.34 is currentily available, which is what I have currently. I am waiting for them to release the version 6 but they won't until it is out of Release Canidate status. I am wondering if this is a v5 bug. The issues comes and goes....for the last 2 days now it has been stable.

Hi,
I tested once those scripts and at the end it wasn't a good experience:

• Remaining compilation packages ( gcc, and variuos useless stuffs)
• You don't know how your VM/LXC is configured.
• it's "Run and pray" ( Peaople provide "as-is", and YOU are responsible). Remember you are running unknown stuffs AS ROOT in Proxmox. I will never do that again. I MUST have a trusted/clean/stable Proxmox.

So i installed a pure debian LXC, applied the settings i needed, and installed docker, and executed the right comands to pull the official version form rcourtman . That was 5 or 6 months ago. Pulse is using the API of proxmox, nothing installed directly on proxmox....

I created a small script to quickly perform the steps to update Pulse, clean images and things like that. ( I'm not expert in docker, and it is way more convenient)
Yes i tooked me some hours, but everything is "under control".
BTW i'm now running rc6..... and so far so good.
