Follow these steps to set up the Stream Deck MCP integration with Streamer.bot.

⚡ Requirements

  • Stream Deck 7.4.0 or newer
  • Node.js installed. Elgato recommends the LTS version
    https://nodejs.org/
  • Streamer.bot installed

🧩 Step 1: Enable MCP in Stream Deck

This integration relies on MCP (Multi Control Protocol), which must be enabled.

  1. Open Stream Deck
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Enable "Enable MCP Actions"

Warning

This step is required. The integration will not work if MCP is disabled.

📦 Step 2: Install the Extension

  1. Download the extension (ZIP file)

  2. Extract the contents

  3. Copy the extracted folder into your Streamer.bot directory

🔧 Step 3: Import Actions into Streamer.bot

  1. Open Streamer.bot
  2. Go to Import
  3. Get the latest import code here
  4. Confirm the import

▶️ Step 4: Start Using It

  • Make sure Stream Deck is running
  • Make sure your buttons are already set up in Stream Deck MCP Actions page
  • Trigger actions using Streamer.bot triggers

✅ Verification

To confirm everything is working:

If nothing happens:
