Compile with the Arduino core or use arduino-cli compile.

Reduce MaxDepth, strip Serial prints, or shrink lookup tables.

Why is the AI slow at depth 5?

Each extra ply multiplies nodes by the branching factor. Try iterative deepening with a time cutoff.

(Transposition tables are not supported on 2 KB RAM targets.)
