1.1.0: No-download architecture construction restored

pretrain_weights=None now builds an RFDETRXLarge/RFDETR2XLarge architecture without fetching any weights — base rfdetr already allowed this, RF-DETR-Plus configs had narrowed the annotation to plain str, so an explicit None failed pydantic validation. That's the fix in this release. The rfdetr floor also moves to 1.8.0, ensuring compatibility with upstream compile/cuda_graphs support, with documented compile=True version-gating guidance. No breaking changes.

model = RFDETRXLarge(pretrain_weights=None, accept_platform_model_license=True)

builds the architecture without fetching weights, matching base rfdetr behavior (this triggers a PretrainWeightsCompatibilityWarning — expected, silence with warnings.filterwarnings if noisy). PathLikeStr is imported from rfdetr.config behind a try/except ImportError fallback (absent in the 1.8.0 floor, present by 1.9.4):

Ensures compatibility with upstream compile/cuda_graphs support. compile=True is a no-op below rfdetr 1.10.0, and not multi_scale-safe until 1.10.1 — pin rfdetr>=1.10.1 if you need working compile acceleration.

No breaking changes in this release.

• Minimum rfdetr dependency raised to 1.8.0 (from 1.6.0). If you pin rfdetr explicitly, bump to >=1.8.0,<2.
• If you rely on compile=True, pin rfdetr>=1.10.1 — versions below 1.10.0 treat it as a no-op, and it is not multi_scale-safe until 1.10.1.
• Internal config resolution moved from get_model_config()/get_train_config() method overrides to a _model_config_class class attribute — no observable behavior change; a subclass that still overrides those methods keeps working unchanged.
• If you previously worked around pretrain_weights=None failing validation, that workaround is no longer needed.
