By unanimous consent, the lang team would like to welcome @Darksonn to lang-advisors.
Alice has both "breadth" and "depth", bringing valuable experience from the perspective of both Rust for Linux and Tokio. She regularly works with asm, unsafe, pinning, and async in contexts where both performance and reliability are critical. Alice is one of the primary people whose opinion I want to hear on a feature touching any of those areas.
Recently we reviewed Alice's RFC 3848 (asm const pointers) and many of us thought it was extremely clear and well-written. In this and other contexts I can see that she has good instincts when it comes to usability, and this is reflected in her work maintaining and writing documentation for Tokio. On top of all that she's been pleasant to work with, demonstrating enthusiasm and flexibility, while finding ways to push important designs like CoercePointee forward.
