RustDesk running (?) but non-functional in macOS.

Bug Description

I have a Late 2009 iMac running macOS 13.7.6 via OpenCore Legacy Patcher. I have permissions enabled for screen recording and accessibility. When I launch RustDesk the icon in the dock does not bounce, but the focus shifts away from the Finder as if I clicked into another app that has no windows running. No RustDesk window appears, no RustDesk icon appears in the menu bar, and RustDesk does not appear in the force-quit window. If I call up Activity Monitor there is a RustDesk process that's doing basically nothing; as of this writing I've had RustDesk "running" for maybe five minutes and it's sent a total of 138 bytes (11 packets) and received 136 bytes (14 packets). I can quit the RustDesk process from there (no force-quit necessary).

This issue has persisted with 1.3.x and 1.4.x versions of RustDesk. Any suggestions welcome. My RustDesk_rCURRENT.log file reads as follows:

How to Reproduce

Install RustDesk, then launch it.

Expected Behavior

I expected the RustDesk icon to appear in the menu bar and the RustDesk window to appear. Neither happens.

FYI, I posted this as a discussion about a week and a half ago (12541) and got nowhere, which is why I posted it as a bug. I appreciate that someone is attending to the bug submissions but moving it to a venue which has proven to have no input doesn't help me here....

I might add, using the intel version of macos, and then found a 1.1.9 that works, 1.2x 1.3x 1.4x won’t open it!

Thank you for this. I have the same experience; 1.1.9 seems to work (although the permissions message comes up every single time, even though it already has the appropriate permissions) but 1.2.0 and later do the same thing as my original post.

I consider this a bug, but apparently the developers do not since they turned my bug report into this discussion without comment.
