I have vm win10 in proxmox, gpu pass through, no physical monitor, connected via rustdesk to laptop, locally self hosted, all tests using heaven benchmark, nvidia gpu;
1gb network, tailscale+head scale (though this does not matter).
Issues:
virtual display 1 (windows display 2) is always faster then basic one (1), it goes to 60fps, but 1 goes up to max 20 fps, sometimes 25 fps, so I got to habit of setting virtual display 1 (display 2) as default in vm, and using it that way, ignoring 1.
when having 2 virtual displays (3 total), fps drop to under 10 on all
when starting machine, on first connect, with 2 total displays, one being standard console virtio-gpu, and one virtual (showing in vm as usb display), at first connection (non logged in to vm win), I see black screen, I have to click "2" in rustdesk display lists to show win 10 login screen
when displays 1 and 2 are both visible (seen as 2 windows on my laptop+external monitor), fps on 2 is 30-50 on idle, on 1 as needed. however, when I close window 1, fps on 2 on idle drops to normal.
There are also other small issues, but I can live with that.
Since I find unusual that nobody noticed all this, I accept this as something that is wrong with my own general setup. So, I do not expect you to take much action, but I would appreciate for you to just leave this issue open for some time to see if others have similar issue.
How to Reproduce
vm win10 in proxmox, gpu pass through, no physical monitor, connected via rustdesk to laptop, locally self hosted, all tests using heaven benchmark, nvidia gpu, 1 virtual display (2 total)
Expected Behavior
same speed
at least displays having same type to have same speed (USB Mobile Monitor ... virtual display 1, virtual display 2)
that at least one display is connected, showing images
to have idle on virtual 1 without having to turn off basic display
Operating system(s) on local (controlling) side and remote (controlled) side
win 10 -> win 10 (as vm in proxmox)
RustDesk Version(s) on local (controlling) side and remote (controlled) side
