RustDesk focuses on video codecs optimized for video and graphical content, differentiating it from traditional VNC, which prioritizes text clarity. A simple VNC-like high-contrast codec is therefore needed to enhance text readability and improve the experience for all programmers.
Having used RustDesk with a self-hosted server for years with many clients, I've personally experienced this - the picture is often blurry and small text is unreadable, likely due to limitations in client/server computation power and/or network bandwidth. Therefore, I propose a simple, light-weight processor-friendly high-contrast codec specifically designed for programmers and text readability. Here, the contrast is preferred to frames per second.
