Description
Suppose I use this activity in four places in my course and there are 300 students enrolled. For each comment, 300 students would receive an email whenever a student comments. This can be useful if the supervisor intended it to be, but it can also annoy all other students. Subscriber settings are mandatory for all students by default. Wouldn't it be better if the settings for the subscriber mode in this plugin were set up as in the Moodle forum settings? There you can adjust the subscriber settings in 4 options:
Optional subscription - Participants can choose whether to be subscribed; Forced subscription - Everyone is subscribed and cannot unsubscribe; Auto subscription - Everyone is subscribed initially but can choose to unsubscribe at any time and Subscription disabled - Subscriptions. So every student could control his subscription settings with more flexibility.
