lvgl 9.3.0 no longer compiles correctly

9.2.2 works, but now with lvgl 9.3.0 release, there are some errors.

I checked it; you're right, LVGL 9.2.2 is no longer downloaded but 9.3.0.
For the library ^9.2.2 is used so any compatible version (new functionality in a backwards compatible manner and patches are allowed. As there is a 9.3.0 this will be downloaded. However, this still works in the demo application.

I suggest you look at the inclusion of your lvgl.ini file:

build_flags = '-D LV_CONF_PATH="${platformio.include_dir}/lv_conf.h"'

and make sure your lv_conf.h is in. the include directory

Okay so we solved it, this is the solution. You can't setup the conf_path like that old way anymore. Now you need to do:

    -I include  ; Add the include/ folder to the search path
    -DLV_CONF_PATH=\"lv_conf.h\"  ;Define LV_CONF_PATH as a quoted filename

Oddly, it's very specific it seems. At first I tried without the backslashes around the lv_conf.h and it didn't work. After doing a file compare with my friends working platformio.ini I saw he had backslashes so I added it and I fixed it. Why? no clue. But it compiles on 9.3.0 now.
Also worth mentioning that specifying the conf_path like this on 9.2.2 does NOT work. You have to use the old method for 9.2.2 and the new one for 9.3.0.
Ironically, I'll be sticking to 9.2.2 for the time being anyways because it uses less memory and I'm over 100% with 9.3.0
