Checkbox needs an indeterminate state [21]

In cases where multiple checkboxes can be selected we need an indeterminate checkbox to indicate partial selection. An example of the indeterminate state can be found here.

[for the data table logic,] I propose a check (pun intended) on selection and item length that will flip the style, 0, same, less than. We already do this if all are selected.
