The source of truth is now TypeScript files. JavaScript files are generated from them but still kept in the repository to allow direct native imports by HTTP. Few bugs and broken files were fixed by just transitioning into TS and resolving compile-time errors.
Due to various issues with
tsc, the build step is multistage and many commits point to investigation results. Anyway, finally, we get nice looking JS code along with TypeScript files and type definitions.
