openDHT Proxy - using server

Hi,

It looks like we want to use
JAMS
Our own bootstrap server for our clients
and
an openDHT server proxy (is this just an openDHT node? (to relieve the mobile client bandwidth from openDHT sync activity)

I am not clear on implementation, I assume that I could run these three processes on a virtual server together.
Any docs or guides appreciated.
