Home screen widgets fit their place. On larger screens such as an unfolded Fold, widgets were laid out for the smallest size and stretched, leaving empty bands and labels that drifted off their buttons. 2.2.2 lays every widget out at the size it really has.

Fixes

• Widgets use the space they're given. Each widget now reads its real size from the launcher and lays itself out again whenever you resize it.
• The Start a workout widget's sport names sit under their buttons again.
• Every widget stays the widget you placed. In 2.2.1 a placed widget could turn into the Steps widget after a while.
• The widget picker shows each preview whole. The Start a workout preview cut its sport's name short.

Changes

• Every widget shows its big number at the same size when they're the same size, so a row of widgets looks like one set.
• On an unfolded Fold, widgets three columns wide get the fuller layouts: Steps shows your week and Sleep shows its stages.
• The Moment widget's title matches the other widgets' titles.

Upgrading

Installs over 2.2.1 and keeps all your data and settings. Android 9 or newer. Widgets you already placed redraw on their own a few seconds after the update.
