Summary of Changes

Hello @feeblefakie, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request is an automated backport focused on enhancing the clarity and accuracy of error messages within the system. It addresses inconsistencies where error message templates did not align with the parameters being passed to them, or vice-versa. By correcting these parameter mismatches, the changes ensure that error messages provide complete and precise information, which is crucial for debugging and system maintenance.

Highlights

  • Error Message Template Corrections: Updated several error message templates in CoreError.java to correctly include placeholders for additional details such as 'Table', 'Value', and 'Details', ensuring more comprehensive error reporting.
  • Parameter Mismatch Fixes: Adjusted buildMessage calls across various storage handlers (DynamoDB BatchHandler, DeleteStatementHandler, PutStatementHandler) and RdbEngineFactory to ensure the number and type of parameters passed match the updated error message templates, preventing runtime mismatches.

Code Review

This pull request backports a fix for parameter mismatches in CoreError messages. The changes in CoreError.java update several error message format strings to be more descriptive by including additional parameters. The corresponding calls to buildMessage in BatchHandler.java, DeleteStatementHandler.java, PutStatementHandler.java, and RdbEngineFactory.java are correctly adjusted to match the new message formats. These changes improve the clarity and usefulness of error messages. The implementation looks solid and I have no further suggestions.
