Scalatest 3 Support?

Hi there - I noticed this plugin is still tied to scalatest 2, and I had some troubles trying to run it on 3, although I can't say if it was actually because the plugin is incompatible or because there are changes to my own code that're necessary, but in either case it's nonobvious if the plugin works with scalatest 3.

Would be nice to have some clarification in the documentation.

I have added ScalaTest 3 support and I've done some improvements to the plugin itself.
For example test name suffixes are now working under Windows/Mac:

In the next release I want to switch to new Maven Plugin API: http://maven.apache.org/guides/plugin/guide-java-plugin-development.html

...at some point I would like to release it to Central Maven Repository but I am not sure about the license ;/

@adamdec The license is Apache 2.0, so you can fork and release it, but it has to be under your own group id, not the official one.

You have to go through the Sonatype OSS steps, which ends up with a release in Maven Central. If you're seriously considering it, the guide is here. Otherwise, I can fork your repo and release it under my namespace.

We are in the process of releasing a 2.0.0 version of the ScalaTest Maven Plugin that includes most of the PRs that were submitted, including 3.0 support. We hit an error last week doing that, but will try again this week.

@cstroe we merged in other PRs that updated the plugin to ScalaTest 3.0.0. Currently working to make a release.

We have published a 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT release. If you have time please try it out and let us know if it works for you. Once (if) we get some positive responses, we'll release 2.0.0.

When I ran mvn clean package invoker:install invoker:run, I got a successful build: mvn-build.txt
