Expected Behavior

Color number matches the wiki article "Computer Colors"

Actual Behavior

Color number is hard to understand and does not match the wiki article "Computer Colors"

Operating System and Browser

It has nothing to do with the operating system and browser version.

Steps to Reproduce

Set pen color to different number and draw.

Obviously it does not meet the calculation rules described in the wiki article "Computer Colors":

So I don't know what's the formula from RGB color to Scratch color number.

@Kenny2github That screenshoot may come from old version.
For example, if I want to draw a red line (R=255, G=0, B=0), actually a yellow line is drawn.
The whole code:

A red line is expected, but a yellow line is drawn.

@apple502j Thank you. I know the color picker feature, but that's a different user case.

So if I want to use RGB color number, I should convert RGB to HSV(HSB) at first.

Finally, I made a RGB2HSV procedure to handle my request.

I think the wiki page is expired and need to be update.

What you don't seem to understand is that you can just drag blocks into the COLOR input of the "set pen color" block:
