Split into a multi page site

Hi, I'm the developer of the Wii U and Switch ports (and I'm also working on cloud variables) of Scratch-3DS and the only developer of LIT. I personally don't think this is a necessary resource for most things, but I could see this being helpful for more niche things. Given the proposed scope of this project, it really needs to be split into multiple markdown files parsed by something like Vitepress (my personal favorite.) or Starlight. I would recommend doing this earlier in the project's life-span to make migration easier and faster.

That makes sense. So far I have been writing everything in the README for the sake of simplicity, but it is getting pretty long. I'm not very experienced with deployments and things (currently using the default Pages deployment), but I'll look into using a better system as soon as I can. Vitepress and Starlight both look significantly better than what I'm using now. I tried to use mdbook at some point (it had a premade Pages deployment which didn't take much to set up), but it wasn't really as pretty.

Even if it's divided into separate files, I do want the spec to remain cohesive (though this is more of a nice-to-have). It currently uses a lot of links between sections, so I'm hoping I can still link together the different topics it explains across markdown files. It does use an excessive amount of linking right now which I will be cutting down on, but it's a good way to keep from redefining concepts (specify it once, reference it anywhere). I'll try splitting it up in a bit and see how it goes. Thank you for the insight!

It would definitely be possible to link between sections. I'll make a PR to port this to Vitepress if I have time. Oh, also a nice addition to this project would be an in-depth explanation of the cloud variables protocol.

Somehow, of everything I thought to add a section for, things needing external connections (Wi-Fi / Bluetooth) completely slipped my mind! Once I get this project going (i.e. find time to specify a bunch of things) I'll definitely try adding a section for this sort of stuff in, though it may take time (will have to dig a little into the cloud server code and Scratch Link).
