Install the new zip (needed for Export debug log), then re-bake with the new selector. No settings reset. Download both files below: Live-Wallpaper-v3.2.3.zip (the plugin) and video-wallpaper-selector.html (the tool you pick wallpapers with).

  • Adjust your wallpaper live. The wallpaper now stays visible while Quick Access is open, so you can watch Dim, Brightness, Zoom and Position change as you move them. (Before, opening Quick Access could make the plugin think another game was selected and hide the wallpaper.)
  • Web wallpapers can be adjusted too: Dim, Brightness, Zoom and Position now work on web wallpapers, not just video. (Fit stays video-only.)
  • Smoother web wallpapers: lowering Brightness no longer runs an extra filter over the whole page every frame (same look, less work), and a web wallpaper fades in once it has drawn, instead of flashing black while it loads.
  • Steadier placement: during Steam's fade between games the wallpaper now lands on the new game's art, not the one fading out, and finding the art takes far less work on each change.
  • Export debug log: a new button in Quick Access saves decky-wall-log.txt to your Desktop. Attach it to a bug report.
  • Selector: "Installing…" / "✓ Installed" / "⚠ Not installed" now shows right on the wallpaper you clicked, and a ✓ Installed badge marks your current wallpaper. The moving maze background is smoother, and a Background button turns it off.
  • Includes everything from v3.2.2 (pulled before release): the wallpaper steps aside on a game's page, a Wallpaper on all games switch, search and list view in the selector, and a one-click Report a problem link.

Tips

  • First time? Click Use this in the selector. + Library only adds a wallpaper to the per-game list; it doesn't set your main one.
  • If game art goes black for a moment when you move right on Home, check the CSS Loader theme Art Hero: its "No Hero" setting causes that, not this plugin.
